Faces of Jackson County Class of 2020: Josh Abramchaev

Meet Josh Abramchaev! Josh is a senior at Jefferson High School and plans to attend college in the fall and pursue a career in the healthcare industry. We want to congratulate Josh on his graduation and best wishes in the future.

Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “We are a family of 7 who enjoy out door farming and going to the beach.”

Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I plan to attend college and then pursue a career in the healthcare industry.”

Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Zaxbys.”

Q: How long have you lived in our community?
A: “Five years.”

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
A: “Marcus Beringer.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “Ireland because I love the people and culture.”

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “My favorite show is ‘Breaking Bad’ and movie is ‘The Lighthouse.’”

Q: What advice would you give to people?
A: “Why use a hammer when you have a wrench.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Visiting the Pyramids of Giza.”

Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Frank Sinatra.”

Q: What is something you will do as soon as COVID-19 is over?
A: “I will go to Publix and order a sub for my friends and I.”

Q:If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
A: “Jeffrey Morgan because he seems like a down to earth guy and we would probably eat some BBQ.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “I enjoy the quiet and peaceful areas.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “I see my self probably leaving college and pursuing my career.”

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
A: “I have a aloe farm.”

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
A: “The Bahamas.”

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is November, Christmas is my favorite holiday, and the best single day in the calendar is October 15.”

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “The music produced during the 70s and 80s.”

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My parents and old chemistry teacher Casey Colquitt.”

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
A: “Paint.”

Q: Finally, what three words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
A: “Family, Friends, and Peace.”
