Faces of Jackson County Class of 2020: Madison Chisholm

Meet Madison Chisholm.  Madison is a senior at Jefferson High School and will be attending the University of North Georgia in the fall. We want to congratulate Madison and her family on her upcoming graduation and best wishes in the future.

Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
A: “My mom, dad, and brother always encourage me to do my best to help me succeed in all my endeavors.”

Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I’ll be attending UNG and majoring in biology/physical therapy.”

Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “I’ve always LOVED Jefferson Pizza Kitchen, especially after tough practices.”

Q: How long have you lived in our community?
A: “I’ve lived here my whole life.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I would love to be laying out at the beach with my friends.”

Q: What advice would you give to people?
A: “In times like these, I try and think of at least five positive things that happened that day before I go to sleep.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Run a marathon.”

Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Young the Giant.”

Q: What is something you will do as soon as this COVID 19 thing is over with?
A: “Go see all my friends.”

Q:If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
A: “Selena Gomez. She’s so compassionate and honest. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind, or lend a hand to those on need.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “I think Jefferson has some of the most spirited seniors and it makes school functions so much fun.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “Working as a physical therapist assistant while working on my doctorate to become a physical therapist and specialize in sports injury physical therapy.”

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
A: “I went on a hike while in Honduras and got to interact with monkeys and birds.”

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “Christmastime is the best! The whole month of December just feels so joyful and I love it!”

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “Cream & Shuga’s grape salad.”

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My parents by always reassuring me that I can do anything I want as long as I’m willing to work hard for it.”

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
A: “I love anything and everything minty.”

Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
A: “Jefferson, Dragons, Memorial Stadium.”
