Meet Nathan Collins! Nathan is a senior at Jefferson High School. We want to congratulate Nathan and his family on his upcoming graduation and best wishes in the future.
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
A: “My family is crazy. My family is great I can’t complain they always push me to do my best and to follow my dreams and don’t let nobody say otherwise.”
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “Get A job first and then go to a small college and obtain my associates degree and then move on to UGA and major in Business.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Oh man I don’t even know where to start.”
Q: How long have you lived in our community?
A: “All my life.”
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
A: “Brantley Gilbert. He’s a great guy and if you know Brantley you know what I’m talking about. I would tell some stories but we’d be here a while.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “Honduras.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “Trailer Park Boys.”
Q: What advice would you give to people?
A: “Follow you dreams and don’t let up and don’t let nobody get in your way.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “International travel.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Lynyrd Skynyrd.”
Q: What is something you will do as soon as this COVID 19 thing is over with?
A: “Hang out with friends more, travel to places, etc.”
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
A: “Definitely Jerry Seinfeld. I picked Jerry Seinfeld because we both love sports, cars, I LOVE the show SEINFELD so why not pick Jerry Seinfeld. I would definitely take Jerry to either Miss Kay’s Vintage Pantry or Cream & Shuga.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “The closeness of our community and how we all come together when we need too.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “Working and trying to start up my own business.”
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
A: “Everybody pretty much knows everything about me.”
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
A: “Sanford Stadium on Saturday night.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “Definitely the month of September, Thanksgiving, and best single day is the opening day of college football.”

A: “A perfectly cooked steak.”

A: “Conor McGregor.”

A: “A freshly plowed field.”
